Experiments by MDS Pharma Services showed that MIC-31 is neither an antibiotic, nor an antacid, and there is no disturbance of drug resistance, and would not influence the normal bacteria flora of digestive tracts and the digestive function, plus there is high safety and high value of development as drugs. The research results of the MIC-31 are as follows:

After 72 hours of inoculation with the Helicobacter pylori, the test mice were orally administered with MIC-31 for 25mg/kg, twice a day for three consecutive days. The results is positive to prevent the gastric ulcer caused by the helicobacter pylori.

MIC-31 at 25 mg/kg, administered twice daily for 7 consecutive days starting one hour after Helicobacter pylori inoculation, afforded gastroprotective action against ulceration caused by H. pylori, and showed better results compared with Omeprazol+Clarithromycin on the easing of ulcer extent and severity.
